Fabio Mendez has years of experience in infrastructure projects on the international level in many countries across the globe. Being well traveled during his academic years and through his vocation, Fabio Mendez has gained a unique global perspective.
Economic empowerment is a general term that refers to creating an economy of a country or region is structured in such a way that there can be meaningful participation by the majority of citizens. This ideal type of bringing up an economy is brought through creating ways for those citizens to gain skills, enterprise development and promoting the inclusion of entrepreneurs into the economic activity of the region. This would allow the people of the newly grown economic status of the stated region to participate in the wealth of the world.
Fabio Mendez believes that economic empowerment is a good idea, but it would take a significant amount of time, effort and concentration to the specific region until they become the economic power they are trying to create. However, Mendez believes that perhaps another way to bring economic empowerment to a country or region is through education. Currently, according to UNICEF many countries charge for the education of children, thus if they cannot afford it, they do not go; on top of that, some countries restrict their education for males only. Thus, if those countries were able to teach all of their children, this couple potential bring in program and policies for everyone and grow the economy.
